2005 Solheim Cup

RMG Technologies managed voice and date technology in support of the 2005 Solheim Cup at the Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana.  The Solheim Cup is played every two years, and pits teams of professionals representing the United States and Europe, respectively (Americans members of the LPGA; Europeans members of the LET).  The competition is contested at match play, similar to the Ryder Cup.

Project management at large international golf tournaments requre a unique set of skills and managemetn capabilities.  Typically gold clubs are not structured to handle the broadcast and media requirements nor the ability to handle the large number of coporate sponsors at a world class golf event.  RMG has the event management technology and special event production experienve to help produce one of the most acclaimed Solheim Cup Championships.

RMG constructed and installed a large-scale data and wireless network to support international radio broadcasters, print media, and photographers.  Corporate event sponsorship is a significant part of financing an event of this magnitude, and our technical services played a major role in fulfilling the expectations of major corporate sponsors.  in addition, our support of technical services for the staff of the LGPA and the Indiana Sports Corporations helped execute an extremely success event.
